It was a fabulous day at Earls Hall today as we welcomed our fifth, and final, group of new Foundation Stage starters into the classrooms. The children took part in the usual tour of key areas of the school before they familiarised themselves with their new surroundings and played alongside their new friends. It was smashing to see the classes full with children, all enjoying themselves and looking very comfortable.

Meanwhile, as more children helped Mrs Cox care for the farm animals, the children in year Four developed their understanding of column addition whilst Mr B heard some fantastic readers in his office; today from Woodpeckers. Well done children, Mr B was very proud of you!

In the KS1 morning assembly the children sang along with Mr B and his guitar where he was accompanied by some volunteers who helped lead the actions to some of their favourite songs.

In the afternoon a group of children from 6M helped Mabel, our school puppy, with her training schedule. The children took Mabel for a walk around the roads of the school where they helped her sit at the side of the road before crossing and gave her plenty of praise when she followed their command.
