It was another busy day at Earls Hall and one which saw the children from 6J take ton their bikes despite the increasingly erratic weather conditions! Some children developed their skills on the playground whilst others took to the roads surrounding the school supported by the instructors from Bikeability.

Meanwhile, also outside, the children in Woodpeckers enjoyed a Forest Friends session where they created faces out of natural objects. the children investigated the collection of resources in the Cabin and also foraged for their own treasures to use from within the woods and then arranged them in order to create works of art. There was also time to make their own perfumes from petals, leaves and grass as well as take turns om the rope swing.

Whilst the children in Foxes completed their stitched felt pirate flags, the children in elm put the finishing touches to their batik cloths by using the glue gun to stick on silhouettes.

In the afternoon, the children in Aspen used the laptops in order to create their own South Africa fact file on Publisher whilst the children in Oak enjoyed cricket sessions out on the playground before taking part in a music lesson where they created their own beats and rhythms  using a range of drums.
