It was an incredibly busy day at Earls Hall today and one which was full to the brim with festive cheer! The day saw the children in Foundation Stage, KS1 and Year Four all enjoy yuletide Forest Friends fun as they took part in Christmas camp fire sessions. Each class gathered round the fire, enjoying singing Christmas songs whilst sipping on hot chocolate.

Later in the day, the Woodland Diner was full of merriment and festive cheer as the children in KS2 enjoyed their Christmas dinner in school. Mrs Warren-Hardy and her fabulous team cooked up lunch with all of the trimmings which was served to the children by their teachers. The children enjoyed crackers courtesy of the PTA and enjoyed their meal to a string of Christmas classics, many of which they sang along to. It was a delicious lunch, thanks to Mrs Warren-Hardy and her kitchen crew for once again serving up a treat.

In the evening, the playground was full of families as we once again came together to take part in our ‘Carols Around the Tree’ celebration. The evening saw the Southend Band play a range of carols whilst families gathered with their friends to sing along. There were hot refreshments on offer for all to enjoy and the whole evening once again finished with the snow machine covering the children. It was a fantastic way to end the day.
