It was one of the busiest days in the Earls Hall calendar today, and one of the most exciting to boot, as we held our annual PTA Christmas Fair!

The morning started like any other Friday apart from the fact that overnight the school had been transformed with lots of smashing decorations which caused amazement as the children entered the building. Later in the morning we held our ‘Celebration Assemblies’rewarding various children from each class for their individual achievements. Our Earls Hall stars were presented and everyone felt proud of the determination that the children had shown in class.

In the afternoon there was a hive of activity in both the downstairs hall and dining hall as parents from all year groups prepared and set up their stalls and then after school the Fair took place.

This year our PTA launched a competition to see which class of parents in school could run their own stall and the entries were all very impressive. There were games and teddy stalls, face painting and hair styling as well as the usual craft opportunities and cake sales. the atmosphere at the Fair was fantastic and everyone who came along was sure to have had a great time. At the moment we don’t know how much money was raised but thank you to everyone who helped at the Fair or came along and supported the event. What a fantastic start to the Christmas celebrations at Earls Hall!
