It was the end of an era today as the school bid a fond farewell to the lovely Miss Patching after eighteen happy years at the centre of Earls Hall action. As she leaves us to take on an exciting new role within SEND for the city council, the day saw the children wish her well in assembly where a slideshow of photos of the much loved TA over the years lit up the screen. Later in the day she was presented with a gift and flowers by her friends in the staffroom. Over the years Miss Patching has supported hundreds of children, many on a one to one basis, and the relationships she built with the children will be remembered by them and their parents for years to come. We have loved having her as part of our team and very much hope that our paths will cross again in the future. Good luck Miss Patching!

Elsewhere, the children in Year Two were special guests for the afternoon as they were invited into the Year Three classrooms which had been turned into museums all about the Stone Age! The children had spent the morning as curators and had arranged interactive displays which showcased everything they had learnt about the Stone Age. When their younger friends came to enjoy the displays, the children were on hand to answer questions.
