It was a fantastic afternoon for the children in Foxes today as they were joined by a host of proud parents and other family members in the downstairs hall, all eager to see their wonderful dance skills in action! The children gathered together in order to perform their self choreographed dance to ‘I just Can’t Wait to be King’ from the ‘Lion King’. The children moved their bodies imaginatively to the music and enjoyed every second of their performance. Thanks to everyone who made it along to see them strut their stuff in style! Well done children, we are proud of you!

Earlier in the day, the upstairs hall played host to a PE lesson for the children in Willow as they got to grips with the rules of volleyball. Mrs Barker explained to the children how to develop their individual skill in the game whilst also being aware of the other children in their team and where they were on the court in order to take a strategic approach to each match.

Outside, as the children from Foundation Stage enjoyed investigating a series of natural objects in their Forest Friends session, the children in 6CW developed their bowling skills as part of a cricket lesson in PE.  Meanwhile, inside, the children in Year Two continued their work based around habitats.

After school, the lovely Mrs Hanshaw hosted another junk modelling club where the children made a range of exciting models out of boxes, tubes and bottles.
