It was an amazing afternoon for the girls in Year Six today as they celebrated international women’s day by taking part in the worlds biggest girls football event! Every single Year Six girl spent the whole afternoon playing in a football competition against one another at the same time as thousands of other girls were doing the very same thing right across the country. Demonstrating the Earls Hall Quality of being a team plyer beautifully throughout rhe afternoon, the girls had the best time playing with huge smiles on their faces. After playing many games and many goals being scored, the reds were crowned as champions lifting the trophy! Well done to all of the girls, we are proud of you!

Meanwhile, also out on the field, Miss Cracknell was joined by parent volunteers as they were joined by their children in order to create the new Opal digging area which the children will be able to use as part of their lunchtime provision. The parents worked like trojans in order to turn over the soil and create an edge out of tyres. Thank you so much for giving us your time!

There was much excitement in the afternoon as Mrs Creak visited each year group in order to present £5 book vouchers to the winners of our ‘Book in a Box’ competition which was part of our World Book Day celebrations. Each and every entry was wonderful and the senior teachers who judged the competition were bowled over by how creative the children had been. Every child who entered will get a certificate next week in order to recognise their efforts. Well done everyone, we are proud of you!
