Fab Final Day!

It was a busy, and at times emotional, final day of the school year today and the day which saw us say a fond farewell to our  lovely Year Six pupils.

The morning started with the team in school being showered with gifts from the children. The whole team would like to say a massive thank you to everyone for their generosity.

Miss Brooker was surprised when she entered her classroom as the children in Sycamore covered her in masses of confetti and popped a veil on her head as a way of celebrating her up and coming nuptials in the Summer holidays, Congratulations Miss Brooker, we hope that you have an amazing day!

Later in the morning our simultaneous ‘Celebration Assemblies’ saw us congratulate our ‘Earls Hall Stars’ for individual achievements as well as announce the Green Team Challenge winners and runners up for each year group. In the upstairs assembly Mr B told the Year Six children how proud the whole team in school are of them and each class in the year group took a bow as the rest of the children gave them a round of applause. At the end of the assembly the year group sang ‘A Whole New World’. There was also much excitement as the total  number of tallies for each house was announced, with the winning house receiving an additional playtime. Well done to the children in Norfolk!

At lunchtime the grand final of the school table tennis tournament took place in the hall, overseen by Mr Smith, and the battle of the finalists drew quite a crowd. Jack won his runner up game, as did Noah, making him champion! Well done to all of the children who took part in the competition, we are proud of you, and a special well done to the champion Noah!

The afternoon was a fun one for the KS1 classes, as they enjoyed their end of year parties, and an emotional one for the Year Six classes as they spent time signing each others shirts and autograph books. It was a smashing end to their time at Earls Hall. We have been so proud to work with such a lovely year group and know that they all have bright futures ahead of them!
