The children of Earls Hall love to entertain audiences leaving them hungry for more so today they were in their element as performances was the word of the day!

This morning a group of children from across Year Two visited our friends at Priory House residential home accompanied by a number of adults from school. The children performed a number of the songs from their recent Christmas play to the residents aswell as some of the firm favourites such as ‘Away in a Manger’ and ‘Jingle Bells’. As always, the residents and staff absolutely loved the singing and showed their appreciation with some tasty treats for the children.

The children in Year Four took to the stage on two occasions today as they performed their fantastic production ‘It’s a Cracker’ to an amazed audience!

The children confidently sang, danced and acted their way through the play which told the story of a grandfather reminding his family about the very first Christmas.

The afternoon performance started with a routine from our timbrel group who stunned the audience with their ability ton move and play in wonderful unison.

The play also included a performance of Georgina Allen’s self penned hit ‘Christmas is Coming’ complete with actions!

After the afternoon performance there was the opportunity for family members to enjoy a range of refreshments in the downstairs communal area whilst at the end of the evening performance it was definitely time to go home to bed!
