The sound of rapturous applause resounded throughout the downstairs hall today as the children in Year One performed on two occasions to an appreciative audience.

The children from Woodpeckers, Rabbits and Squirrels performed ‘Baubles’, a play which saw Mr Hopkins and Mr Kilpatrick, our site managers, work throughout the night to create baubles to hang on the school tree. Each bauble told a special story, the most special of all being the birth of baby Jesus.

The children sang, danced and acted brilliantly throughout the performances and made everybody extremely proud.

At the end of the plays the parents and grandparents stayed and enjoyed a cup of tea and a choice of cakes courtesy of our fantastic PTA. Thanks to everyone for coming along to support the children and thank you to the staff and children for all their hard work.
