It was a very special day at Earls Hall today as the children in Foundation Stage and KS1 enjoyed the most special meal of the school year- Christmas Dinner in School! Mrs Warren-Hardy and her merry crew were in the kitchen at the crack of dawn in order to prepare a magnificent feast of turkey, or quorn, and all the trimmings. Eating to the backing track of Slade, Wizard and all the other classic yuletide tracks, the children enjoyed crackers and were served their meals by teachers and teaching assistants. A great time was had by all and a great shout of thanks was given to our team of cooks in recognition of their hard work. Thank you ladies! Thank you, once again, to our fabulous PTA who once again contributed to the Christmas magic by supplying the crackers for all of the children.

At the end of the school day, once the downstairs hall was cleared from the lunchtime festivities, parents from Badgers were invited into school in order to meet the lovely Mrs Thelwall at a ‘Tea with Teachers’ gathering. Mrs Thelwall will be teaching the class in the new year when Mrs Howell begins her maternity leave and so the afternoon proved to the the perfect opportunity for parents to come along and introduce themselves to her so that she could put names to faces.
