The week in school continued to be a busy one with lots of activity taking place across the school.

The canopy in the wooded area at the front of school was undergoing some renovation due to the windy weather so our Year Two classes spent their Forest Friends sessions gathering and then decorating pine cones from the cabin and making leaf rubbings.

In Year One the children used numicon to investigate doubling whilst in Robins the children investigated sounds in a dance lesson, identifying how different pieces of music made them feel and how they inspired them to move their bodies in a variety of different ways.  Later in the day the children looked a variety of settings which could be included in a story and described them using a range of adjectives. whilst in Kestrels the children continued subtracting on a numberline.

There were celebrations in the office as Miss Scarlett visited the ladies with a group of children from Hedgehogs, all eager to share their independent writing and mark making.

In 6J the children worked with Mr Hadley to represent what Kensuke saw in a dream through leaf painting whilst, in Dormice, the children explored painting and created their own dinosaur world which they then used to tell stories to each other.
