Fantastic Friday!

fj 36

It was a fantastic end to the first week of 2020 at Earls Hall! The morning saw us hold our two simultaneous ‘Celebration Assemblies’ where Mr Geach and Mrs Crouch presented our weekly ‘Earls Hall Stars’ certificates to individual children in recognition of their efforts and achievements. There were also certificates for Club 24 and times Table Rock Stars. Well done to all of the children presented with certificates this morning, we are proud of you!

Throughout the day there was lots of excitement across KS1 as the children continued their investigations into the teachers dinosaur adventure. The children researched different types of dinosaurs and thought of possibilities of what to do with the egg which was accidentally brought back to school in the TARDIS! Children in the Foundation stage painted dinosaurs whilst children in Year two used the prehistoric creatures as a stimulus for Maths.

At the end of the afternoon the weeks ‘Learning Ambassadors’ met with Mrs Irwin, one of our school governors, where they told her all about the learning which has taken place across the school since we returned on Monday.
