There was a sense of community spirit at Earls Hall today as a group of children from the KS1 choir went on tour and visited a series of local residential homes in order to entertain the people who live there as part of a special festive ‘AOK Club’ mission. In the morning a group ventured out to Priory House and in the afternoon they visited Frank Phillips House and then Fairview House. The children sang a series of jolly Christmas songs, some familiar ones which had the residents clapping along and others from their recent Christmas productions. The children sang beautifully and the residents loved every second of their performances. Mr B and Mrs Bowden were so proud that they were delighted to present the singers with their special badges back at school in recognition of their kindness. Well done children, we are proud of you!
In the afternoon the upstairs hall was throbbing to the disco beats of Micky B and his wheels of steel! Lower KS2 enjoyed their time at the disco in the afternoon and upper KS2 took to the dance floor after school. There were dance challenges and competitions galore and a great time was had by all. Thanks, as always to Micky for creating such a fantastic atmosphere!
