Tag Teamwork!

It was an exciting day for sport at Earls Hall today as a team of children from Year One and Two represented the school at the inter-schools Tag Rugby tournament.

Accompanied by Mrs Critoph, Mr Geach and Mrs Smoothy, the children played a series of matches against other local schools and showed great amounts of team spirit throughout the afternoon.

The children won their first game against Chalkwell Infants 3-1 before losing their second to St Helens 3-4. They then played Bournemouth Park and drew 3-3 before losing to west Leigh, the eventual overall winners of the tournament, 4-3. Well done to all of the children who took part, we are proud of you!

Meanwhile, back in school, the downstairs hall played host to the second of the weeks ‘Attendance Assemblies’ as the children from Year One who had an attendance of over 95% were congratulated and presented with special certificates in full view of their proud parents and other family members who had come along to watch. Well done to all of the children presented with certificates, we are proud of you!
