It was a fab end to the week at Earls Hall as the morning started with plenty of reasons to reward achievement in our weekly ‘Celebration Assemblies’. Mr Geach and Mrs Creak presented the ‘Earls Hall Stars’ to individual children from each class whilst there were also certificates for reading and times table achievements presented. Well done to all of the children presented with certificates today, we are proud of you!
The morning saw our School Council meet with Mrs Geach. At the meeting the children continued to work on their presentation about the WWF, our chosen charity for the year, which they will be presenting to their classmates and governors in the coming weeks. They inserted pictures into their powerpoint and animated pages in order to keep it visually interesting.
In the afternoon Mrs Irwin, one of our school governors, came and met with our ‘Learning Ambassadors’ for the week. The children, from Years One to Six, explained all about the learning which has been taking place throughout the week in every year group. Well done to all of the ambassadors, we are proud of you.
It was Miss Patchings last day for a while as she prepared to begin her maternity leave. The children in Foxes and Robins made her cards, pictures and held a little tea party for her in order to wish her well as she prepares for her birth. Good luck Miss Patching!
After school two teams of boys represented the school in football matches against West Leigh Juniors. The boys enjoyed themselves even though they lost both matches 5-0 and 9-0. Well done boys, we are proud of you!
