It was another busy start to the week at Earls Hall. The assembly in KS2 this morning saw the children congratulate Elanor for her recent win at the East Anglian Indian dancing competition. Elanor came first in the region for Indian dancing and third for her Bollywood routine. The children gave her a huge round of applause and she agreed to come back to a future assembly to perform her winning routine for them.
Later in the day the children in Badgers continued their work on human and physical features by creating their own 3D maps through collage whilst the children in Willow created their own paintings of Witches whilst listening to Roald Dahl’s classic story.
There was a hive of activity in the upstairs hall this afternoon as classes from across KS2 worked with Mr Smith to take part in a circuit of activities. The children worked in pairs to complete the circuit which included mini weights, boxing and a series of lifts in aid of the sponsored event for the NSPCC.
After school the downstairs hall was used for another session of ‘Steps Ahead’ for the children in KS1. Laura led the children through a series of dance routines with the children moving their bodies in unison.
